Now I think it's time to think about how hard Japanese is.

Grammar: 4.5-5 (not sure)
Japanese grammar can be very complex and there is a LOT of rules to remember, hence why I've rated it highly. Particularly as it's so different to English.

Lexicon: 4
I've rated this quite high because of Japanese's limited sound system, it makes learning to differentiate similar words quite difficult. Not only that, but they're so unrelated to English. Though in saying that too, Japanese has a lot of English loans.

Pronunciation: 1.5
I think it's piss easy. Once you get over the tapped r and the unrounded u, it's not that hard at all. Even if you can't do those sounds, you're normally well understood anyway.

Regularity: 1
4 regular verbs. thats it.

If you disagree, tell me what you think it should be and why Smile

I don't understand what you mean by regularity: 1.
Are you judging it on how regular it is, in which case, 1 is not very regular at all?
And I have to say I disagree with you if that's the case, Japanese is extremely regular.

Sorry, I meant 4 irregular above. And the lower the "regularity" the more regular it is. Smile

I agree with the complicated lexicon. There are soooo many homonyms.
