I've started working on coptic resources lately.  Egyptian is a fascinating and historically significant language.  My biggest problem is that fonts for things like hieroglyphs, hieratic, and demotic are not well-represented on computers and thus it causes a problem as otherwise I'd have to use a huge set of picture files which I don't really want to do.  Coptic doesn't cause a problem as the script is based on a form of ancient greek with a few demotic characters.  It has it's own unicode range that's easily represented on computers.  If you have any suggestions for how I might be able to handle this issue, please tell me.

If fonts aren't an option, pictures are the logical choice. They shouldn't be terribly huge.

Compressed white-and-black .png images get the job done just fine.
